Description:

Into spring we go! The first parsnips are in and the winter they spent in the ground made them as sweet as sugar, we are roasting them, sauteing them and making fabulous soup. The arrival of east coast asparagus has us very happy and the spring salad with asparagus, proscuitto, arugula and parm has come home. We are waiting on rhuburb , fiddleheads and english peas. We are voting for a warm sunny spring and a hot steamy summer with endless beach and fishing days and a tomato season like no other. Cross your fingers.

The reservation book is up and running for Mothers day, May 9th. Well be serving brunch and dinner, starting at 8:00 am and closing at 8:00pm. We are only taking reservations for large parties and have left the majority of the dining room open for walk in business. We know the parking lot can be daunting but we have a great staff and things should run smoothly. We will have hot coffee on the front porch if you have to wait, hopefully it will be a glorious spring day. Its alright to park on the road as long as your near the front fence.

Since winning the Restaurant Week Breakfast Challenge for the best breakfast in Maine we have had nonstop requests for our beloved Creme Brulee French Toast... so we will have it on the menu the first weekend of every month until youve had your fill.

So off we go into spring.
